Into it's fifth cycle, Redress Asia's EcoChic Design Award 2014/15 is now open for applications. What's more exciting is that Redress Asia has expanded the Award to emerging designers in Malaysia, Sweden and Denmark, alongside 7 other regions in Asia and Europe. With Shanghai Tang as the main competition sponsor, the emerging winner will design a capsule collection for retail made from their textile surplus.

"The EcoChic Design Award actively promotes
sustainable fashion as a viable option for the mainstream fashion industry
Jerry Liu Wing-leung, Head of Create Hong Kong

“Watching The EcoChic Design Award grow to become an
international platform has been amazing. The competition has really helped a new generation of designers to see sustainability in a different light."
Orsola de Castro, Co-founder of From Somewhere and Co-founder and Curator of Estethica and The EcoChic Design Award international judge.

So, are you ready to push for a sustainable fashion industry?
