DIY Christmas Tree Part 2

It's completed! OK, the bottom is a little wonky, but I like it! :-)

My son's nursery gave him some tiny toys which I thought would make cute Christmas bobbles.

I cut small circles of fabric and added some sparkle to them.

I used tacks too....

...and added a ribbon on the top (instead of a star)

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

  1. This is such a cool idea!! I can see this also as a base for an Advent calendar.

I featured your project on Craft Gossip Sewing:

  2. Thanks for the kind words, Anne! Your idea of using it as an Advent Calendar is great too. Maybe next year :-)

  3. Good to make use of ribbons. I notice that those on pressies and bouquets get trashed after a few minutes of "fame/use". Many people don't keep them, maybe cos they don't have ideas on how to reuse them. Maybe we should do an entry on that. :)
