Interested in spending an afternoon with me learning how to sew by hand and make a drawstring pouch at the same time? If the answer is yes, do remember to pencil in your calendars for an afternoon of slow stitching and upcycling on 5th August. From 3 - 4.30pm, I will be teaching you the basics of upcycling a t-shirt and how to sew the running and back stitches. The workshop will be held in The Better Store at Haji Lane. Twenty percent of the proceeds will go to help the Weaving Project in Nepal, Upcycling Project in Central Java (Indonesia) and Fight For Education Program. These programmes are run by Purnama Outreach
