Upcycling Skirt to Culottes

Last year, I was at a Maker meet-up at SIM. My friend, Cherlyn of Artsathomesg wore this very pretty pair of culottes that I knew I had to make. I had an a-line jean skirt that I had never worn for a while and decided that it was the garment to be upcycled.
The reconstruction of the skirt involved cutting it open and constructing the crotch area of the culottes. This meant measuring and drawing the pattern!
Check out the tutorial and the feature I wrote for CutOut +Keep. And thank you to Cat for having me :-)
