Who doesn't love Sponge Bob and his side-kick, Patrick? They're funny and qwerky, and somehow their slapstick reminds me of Stephen Chow. My friend, LY, got creative and made this really cute Sponge Bob pinata for her son's birthday party - she recycled boxes and used acrylic paint and tissue paper. It looks awesome, and she used the money that would have gone into buying a SG$80 pinata to buying the party goodies!! Frugal mummy rocks!
Here are the photos she's shared with me. Thank you, LY!
Wow that looks great and what a clever saving of $80.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that it was really easy to make. My friend did say that you shouldn't seal everything up though - they spent quite a long time before the pinata fell apart and the kids went wild with the sweets!
DeleteThat is the secret to pinata's....you have to make sure that they can be broken without too much effort. They are a lot of fun however and quite funny to watch.
