ReplyDeleteCute, little wristlet!! Looks great with the added flowers. I find zips on little purses are often too bulky at the ends. The thick fabric will make this more so. You can't see this in the pics. A great upcycle!!!

ReplyDeleteI make a lot of bags by recycling jeans - I raise money for charity by selling them. If you would like some ideas, check out my bloc. LIke the wristlet - you must have a really strong machine to cope with all the layers. I tend not to even attempt sewing through seams!

ReplyDeleteI know what you are talking about with the zipper ends. I've been sewing for almost 50 years and still have trouble with it. I've tried many ways to make the bulk at the ends disappear but to no avail.
I've looked at others' sewing blogs to see how they manage it. But they usually skip right by this part in their tutorials so I feel it is a universal problem.
I do, however, think you have done a fine job and the end result is so cute and fashionable.Good job!---Mary
